My name is Adam Tenwolde and my passion is sprint kayaking. I have always had a love for sports. As a kid I would spend hours outside playing road hockey. I have never been someone to have natural talent. Whenever I have excelled at anything, it has been through hard work and determination.
I train 4 hours a day or more in warm weather, and do lots of cross training to get in better shape during the cold Canadian winters. My goal is to one day be an Olympian. Everyday I focus on getting faster and stronger as I continue to develop as one of Canada’s elite athletes.
I am a Junior World Championship Finalist, Pan American Medalist, Canada Games Medalist, and National Champion. I am a member of CanoeKayak Canada and I paddle out of Banook Canoe Club in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
